Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man they say left his transitional work program job this morning.
According to a spokesperson with the sheriff’s office, 25-year-old Wayne Deon Kerry left the business in Bunkie around 5 a.m. and then was reported missing by the supervisory staff.
Kerry is 6’4″ and weighs 160 pounds. The spokesperson says he has family in Melville and Lafayette.
Kerry was in jail for various property crimes and for violating probation/parole, according to the spokesperson.
He was scheduled to be released in August.
