Acting Up (in Acadiana) has opened registration for its 2019-2020 acting classes.
The classes are for ages 7-adult and begin on September 9, 2019 at the Acadiana Center for the Arts.
The classes offered are as follows:
Ages 7-9 or 10
Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Introduction to Acting Fundamentals
Ages 10 or 11 - 8th grade
Mondays from 4:30-6 p.m
Acting Fundamentals and Introduction to Stanislavski Based Techniques
Ages high school - adult
Tuesdays 6-7:30 p.m.
Stanislavski Review, Viewpoints and Style Based Techniques, and Shakespeare on Its Feet
Students also have the option to participate in a Student Showcase in March.
Registration fees are $130 and classes are $70/month.
