Preparation is what is on the minds of first responders in Rayne.
Weather continues to get worse and at the Rayne Fire Department, crews have water and full gas tanks.
The preparation will be for rescues and damage assessing after Hurricane Laura moves through the area.
Residents are asked to hunker down where they are for the night and call 911 if assistance is needed.
