An Acadia Parish grand jury handed up indictments in two shooting incidents today.
Rapheus Deshawn Joseph, 21, of Crowley, was indicted on two counts second-degree murder and two counts aggravated criminal damage to property. He's accused in connection with a fatal drive-by shooting that happened in December in Crowley. Two victims who were hit by gunfire later died at an area hospital from their injuries. Joseph Castillo, 25, and Nikita Savoy, 31, both were shot and died at a nearby hospital of their injuries.
Also on Wednesday, the grand jury indicted Azuri Willis, 17, of Opelousas, was indicted on one count attempted second-degree murder in connection with a January 13 incident.
