Due to the ongoing challenges associated with cold weather conditions, the Acadia Parish School System says they will close all system facilities and schools on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021.
They say the closure on Wednesday will allow officials to continue to assess changing conditions associated with the cold weather. The Acadia Parish Schools System says the decision is being made in the best interest of students, families and staff.
"We'll continue to monitor weather conditions and provide additional updates going forward."
They hope to return to normal operations on Thursday, February 18th, 2021.
