The Three O'Clock Project teamed up Friday with the Healthy Acadia Alliance to offer Acadia Parish children free meals.

Each child received ten breakfast and lunch meals, enough for a week.

Meals were handed out at various locations across the parish, including in Rayne and Crowley.

Officials say meals will be distributed next week also, but a date and time has not yet been finalized.

The Three O'Clock Project will be offering meals in Lafayette Parish next week.
