Lafayette police officers visited Lafayette Christian Academy this morning.
It’s their third annual Police Lesson Event.
Officer say although they want the kids to have fun, it’s also a great way to teach safety.
“We speak to the kids,” said Reginald Thomas, Deputy Chief, Lafayette Police. “We show the kids that police work is something that you might wanna get in in the future. And of the things we do is we give the kids advice. We let them know that you come to a police officer to be safe.”
