A Louisiana musician is going country following his audition on The Voice.
From DeRidder Louisiana, Gyth Rigdon, was selected to Blake Shelton’s team on the popular singing competition show. He chose “Drift Away” by Dobie Gray and after the performance, Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson showed interest.
Legend was blocked by Shelton from working with Rigdon and ultimately he chose Shelton. Ridgon during his interview said that his roots are in country music but he sings pop and loves soul music.
