The Mystic Krewe of Apollo de Lafayette is rehearsing for their 43rd annual ball tomorrow night.
Their theme this year is Apollo Cruisin’ the High Seas.
Tomorrow night, guests will step into the Cajundome Convention Center and feel as if they’re on board for an excursion.
Apollo president Kevin Doerr says the krewe is known for their custom-made costumes. He also says a highlight of the night is the choreographed productions throughout the night.
The krewe is made up of about 100 members, and the highly coveted event sells out every year.
Doors open at 6 p.m. The ball will go on until about midnight.
