NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell gives “State of the League Address” in Atlanta.
Goodell spoke on the no-call Sunday saying that “We understand the frustration of the fans… we certainly want to address that.”
He mentioned that the officials are human and they are “not going to get it right every time.”
Goodell also said that Clubs have generally been in opposition to having someone reviewing calls and no-calls from the booth, but they will look to expand the instant replay system.
Roger Goodell said he didn’t consider overturning the call. “The Commissioner will not apply authority in cases of complaints by clubs concerning judgmental errors or routine errors of omission by game officials. Games involving such complaints will continue to stand as complete.”
