The Scott Police Department is asking for assistance from the public in locating an off-road vehicle that was stolen on Monday.

Police say the vehicle, a 2010 Polaris Ranger, was stolen from a fenced-off area that was secured with a lock. The suspects, according to police, cut the lock in order to gain access to the vehicle.

Surveillance footage reviewed by the department allegedly show the suspects exiting a vehicle and loading the Ranger into a trailer. Police say the theft happened just after midnight on January 7.

The suspect vehicle is described by police as a light colored 2007-2013 GMC or Chevrolet Truck with dual rear wheels. Surveillance video shows that the truck was towing at 30+ foot, tandem axle enclosed trailer at the time of the theft.
