The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office has released video of a fight at the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair ground on Saturday.
Deputies say a woman was in line for a ride at the fair when another woman allegedly cut in front of her. She was later joined by several friends.
An argument ensued. Deputies say the woman who allegedly cut in line began punching the other woman during the argument. The victim’s boyfriend, who was holding a child tried to defend her.
Deputies then say the woman’s friends who had also cut in line began hitting the boyfriend as he attempted to intervene.
After reporting the fight, deputies arrived shortly after. Those who had cut in line and participated in the fight had fled the scene.
The woman and her boyfriend according to deputies, were still on scene. The victim only sustained minor injuries. The child was not hurt.
