Numerous people are reporting outages in several parishes in Acadiana.
SLEMCO is reporting outages in Acadia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermilion.
Currently, Acadia Parish has around over 14,000 customers out with SLEMCO.
Cleco is reporting a major outage in Crowley. Currently, around 3,000 customers are without power. A restoration time of 3:30 am has been given to that outage.
Numerous communities around Evangeline and St. Landry Parish are also experiencing outages because of the weather.
