Clouds that have been hanging on for the last few days will finally clear out this morning. By this afternoon everyone should be seeing mostly sunny skies. Temperatures are going to stay slightly on the cool side as highs will reach the lower 70s, which is a few degrees below normal for late October. As high pressure moves in, lower humidity, and fresh northwesterly breezes will keep our Friday pleasant.
That ridge will also stay dominant over the weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the upper 70s Saturday, and near 80 degrees Sunday. Overnight temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 50s both nights with clear skies.
Looking ahead toward next week, the dry air will stick around with a slight cool down for Monday. No rain is expected through Halloween night, although clouds will be returning by the mid week. Rain chances will be back in the forecast into Thursday and Friday, with clouds perhaps hanging on through next Saturday.
