Law enforcement in the Western portion of St. Mary Parish say that AT&T customers are experiencing a wide spread outage due to a down tower in the Franklin area.
Officials say the outage may last until 2:00 a.m. or later. Franklin Police Department says their phones are still working for all emergency needs.
Baldwin fire department says that outage includes Charenton, Franklin, and Jeanerette areas and maybe others.
If you have an emergency and can’t use your cell phone, law enforcement asks that people, find the nearest emergency services station (police, fire, EMS).
