LAFAYETTE – Families are getting into the Halloween spirit with just eleven days until the 31st.
Vermilionville transformed into Halloweentown today for the Boo Bayou Festival with some guests arriving in costume.
Luckily for those who didn’t come dressed up, there was face painting.
And, what’s Halloween without trick-or-treating? Kids walked throughout the historic village to gather their treats.
Ahead of trick-or-treating, guests decorated their personal trick-or-treat bags.
According to Brady McKellar, Director of Museum Operations, it was a way for the whole family to have some seasonal fun.
