Lafayette Police Department along with the LPD Community Relations Committee will be conducting a community walk.
The walk Monday night is taking place in the Randolph St./Sherwood Dr./Sunset St. neighborhoods starting at 6:00 p.m.
The walk will begin at Acadian Pawn Shop parking lot located at 1304 Moss Street.
Chief Aguillard, Deputy Chief Thomas along with LPD Command Staff and Police Officers will be walking the neighborhood to visit with residents, listen to any concerns and introduce themselves.
“We invite the community to join us, meet with officers and walk the neighborhood with us as we continue in our efforts in bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community,” LPD said in a release.
