Front stalling to start the week

A tricky forecast for the first half of the work week as a front will be stalling across south Louisiana, keeping rain chances elevated and colder temperatures to our north.

As long as that front is sitting on top of Acadiana the clouds and showers will linger, but it will help moderate temperatures.

This comes after another warm day on Monday with highs that will crawl back up into the upper 80s, with plenty of humidity to go along with it.

Clouds will build as we go through the day with the rain arriving a little later in the afternoon, with coverage increasing in the evening.

Some of those showers will linger overnight, with another round of rain expected to get going along the front on Tuesday.

Placement of the front is going to be key this week as that will determine exactly where the showers will be setting up, but regardless it would be wise to keep the umbrella with you this week.

Temperatures will be a little cooler this week but with the moisture hanging around maybe not as crisp as the weekend.
