Seniors in Iberia Parish are looking into education and career opportunities after graduation.
The Pathways to the Future event was open to both public and private schools.
About 35 colleges and businesses set up booths in the NISH school gym with information about how students can get involved.
“It definitely brings joy to me because that’s our ultimate goal,” Ashlie Gray, NISH counselor. “It’s to help students to succeed and it helps them to be successful citizens in the community. So once they leave from what we call our little nest, and they become adults, well we’re just glad that we’re able to help them with that process.”
