The Delcambre Police department says that the man wanted in connection with an alleged vehicle theft has been arrested.
According to police, David Allen Menard was arrested on Monday morning after the alleged stolen vehicle was spotted on Heart D Farm Road near Youngsville over the weekend. Menard was arrested at the scene by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office on a warrant from the Delcambre Police Department.
Police say the truck was returned to its owner and Menard was booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail. No bond has been set.
