Expect approximately 3-mile delays.

According to DOTD reports, I-10 westbound is seeing heavy congestion.

Officials say bridge inspections are continuing along the bridge which is causing the slowdown.

The traffic continues to back up, reaching from mile marker 133 (Ramah) to mile marker 119 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, about 14 miles. Motorists are asked to use an alternate route.

There are no accidents reported on the bridge
