Northside High’s football field is getting a facelift, and the community and other schools are helping make it happen.
The Lafayette Christian Academy football team, Northside High football team and alumni, and volunteers met Saturday afternoon at Northside to repaint the school’s football field.
Prior to today’s painting, the LCA team cleaned up the field, and Lafayette firefighters pressure-washed it so that everything would be ready for today’s painting.
Northside High says they are working hard to revamp the stadium and will be there “all night”. On their Facebook page, the school asks for volunteers to bring your family and friends and help make the stadium ready for opening night.
