The American Cancer Society held their 8th Annual Black and White Gala at the ULL Atchafalaya Ballroom Saturday night.
Food was provided by local restaurants. An open bar, Live and Silent Auctions, and entertainment by the band Krossfyre was also provided
This year 11 Spirit of Hope Honorees will be recognized. These folks are described by organizers as local leaders, cancer survivors, caregivers and physicians:
Sara Zuschlag; Dr. Annie Spell; Katherine McCormick; Dr. Karen Roden; Dr. Michael Cain; Beth Hamilton; Mandy Barrilleaux; Gary Broussard; Dona Dugas; Matt Chaisson and Dustin Poirier
