A Lake Charles woman has died following an accident in a grocery store parking lot last week.
The incident happened on August 1 at about 10:30 p.m. at the Country Club Road Kroger, a Lake Charles Police spokesman said.
Linda Ledoux, 74, stumped in the parking lot, and then was struck by a car, the spokesman said.
She wasn’t responsive at the scene, and was transported to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital where she died on Friday, the spokesman said.
The Lake Charles Police Department’s Traffic Division and the Calcasieu Parish Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate.
