Deputies in Evangeline Parish say they are seeking more information and possible suspects in a home invasion near Basile.
On Monday, July 30, 2018, deputies say there was an alleged home invasion in the Basile area of Evangeline Parish. It occurred on the 4800 block of Old Basile Highway at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Officials say the suspects allegedly broke into a home, restrained the homeowner with an extension cord and stole several items including two televisions and a gun. Deputies say the suspects may be driving a silver/light-colored vehicle, possibly a sports car. The make and model are unknown.
The victim told deputies that one suspect is a black male wearing a t-shirt and baseball cap. The second suspect is believed to be a black male but was not seen. The homeowner told deputies that he only heard that man’s voice.
EPSO says that no arrests have been made.
