Twitter can be a source of information, advice, entertainment, commentary and, well, ick.
Last week, the Centers for Disease Control’s sexually transmitted disease prevention account tweeted some (obvious?) advice: don’t wash condoms or reuse them.
The account, which also advises that a couple’s first date should be at the STD clinic to get tested, posted the tweet on July 23.
We say it because people do it: Don’t wash or reuse #condoms! Use a fresh one for each #sex act. https://t.co/o3SPayRf9m pic.twitter.com/AwkPqE9YMl

The responses to the tweet are interesting, as well.
The very first response was "turn ’em inside out."
Others were interested and/or horrified to find out "that’s a thing."
The UK’s Daily Mail wrote a story about it, which includes a history of the condom. To read it, click here.
