Patriot Tour makes stop in Scott

Thursday, a giant American flag was hoisted above the Scott Harley Davidson as part of the ninth annual Patriot Tour. 

The tour travels on a 110-day journey across the United States in an effort to pay tribute to and honor America’s armed forces including those who have died or have been wounded in combat.

Today the flag, carried by motorcycle made its way from Monroe Louisiana to Scott at the Cajun Harley Davidson. 

A flag ceremony began at 6:00 pm. 

From here, the flag will travel to Baton Rouge where it will be displayed at the American Legion Nicholson Post 38. 

After leaving Louisiana, the flag will continue its journey until it reaches Beaver Dam, Wisconsin where the flag tour began. For more information on the tour click here.
