Firefighters investigating early morning house fire in Opelousas

The Opelousas Fire Department says they responded to an early morning house fire on Goodloe Street in Opelousas. The department says the fire began at around 2:00 am. Firefighters say that no one was home at the time of the fire and that no one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
