Kraft Heinz recalls Taco Bell cheese dip over botulism concerns

In this week of recall alerts, Kraft Heinz is joining the list with the voluntary recall of its Taco Bell Salsa Con Queso Mild Cheese dip. The company says that the cheese dip is being recalled due to concerns over botulism. The product, according to the company, has shown signs of separating which can lead to the potential health hazard.  Approximately 7,000 cases of the cheese product are being recalled. Kraft Heinz says there have been no reports of complaints or illness due to the consumption of the product. Product in 15 oz. glass jars with the "use by" dates of Dec. 27, 2018, and Jan. 23 2019 and with the UPC codes 21000024490 and 21000066900 have been listed under the recall alert. The company says that no other sizes, varieties or code dates have been included. Read more about the recall, here. Consumers should return any of the products to stores for a refund.
