New parents learn how to safely install their child’s car seat

Some new parents now know how to safely install their child’s car seat.     Certified technicians were at Farm Bureau today in Opelousas teaching parents how to make sure their children are buckled in and their seat is secure."We want to make sure they are safe when they’re with us," said Melinda Labbe, secretary of the Farm Bureau Federation. "And as you know, parents and children spend a large percentage of time in the car being ferried to school, to work, to daycare. So we want to make sure that when they’re with us, they’re safe."
