The Lafayette Bar Association Young Lawyers Section is hosting its second annual Tennis Tournament today at Red Lerille’s Racquet & Health Club.

The attorneys have been playing since 9 a.m. this morning.

"To see other young lawyers, giving up their Saturday to raise funds for a good cause – we were out here last night setting up, they gave up their Friday night – it says a lot about the character of the young lawyers we have in the Acadiana area," attorney Adam Credeur said.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Young Lawyers Section, an active section of the Lafayette Bar Association providing community service and outreach programs in the Acadiana area. Along with these programs, the Young Lawyers Section Members are active within the Lafayette Parish Foundation’s pro bono programs that benefit the underprivileged members of the Lafayette community by providing free legal advice and representation.
