Do you think you have what it takes to be the next American Idol? Well, today is your chance to show what you can do and possibly earn a spot on the hit TV show.
In New Orleans, singers from across the state can show their skills during American Idol’s open auditions at the New Orleans Convention Center located at 900 Convention Center Blvd.
The New Orleans auditions are the first scheduled open auditions for the American Idol bus tour that will be kicking off in August. Those interested in auditioning today can register online, here. Singers can register in-person at the convention center beginning at 9:00 am.
Singers must be 15 years old to audition.
American Idol hopefuls can also submit an audition online, here.
Singers in Louisiana will also have a second chance to audition when the American Idol Bus Tour makes a stop in Shreveport on September 9.
