A Jennings police officer is alleging he and three other officers were refused service by a server at the Waffle House on Elton Road in Jennings this morning.
The allegation was made in a Facebook post that has since been deleted. It had been shared over 1,000 times.
Accord to Jennings Police Chief Danny Semmes, Waffle House’s regional management team was made aware of the alleged incident and assured the chief it would be handled appropriately and that officers are always welcome at Waffle House.
"I regret this incident occurred and hope that we can move forward together," wrote Semmes.
The officer went on to say management had been "extremely helpful and apologetic."
