Lafayette Consolidated Councilman Kenneth Boudreaux is making himself available to answer questions and debunk rumors on creating separate city and parish councils.

Boudreaux has dedicated his weekly radio talk show this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. on 104.7 FM "The Community Hour" to discuss this issue.  He will also host a town hall meeting at the Clifton Chenier Center auditorium on Tuesday July 17, 2018 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

During the radio show and town hall,  officials plan on explaining, discussing and addressing all the concerns voters may have when it comes to separating the council.

Boudreaux’s says, "The consideration for this action is of great importance and I encourage everyone to gather as much information as possible from a reliable and trusted source."

Voters will decided on the proposed charter in December should this measure reach the ballot box.
