Project Management Institute inaugural meeting scheduled in Lafayette

The inaugural meeting in Lafayette for the Project Management Institute (PMI) will take place on Tuesday, July 24, 5:30-7:30 p.m., in Olivier Hall at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Kasey LeJeune Guidry, MBA, PMP, will be the speaker. She is a manager in Information Technology at Schumacher Clinical Partners. Her comments will focus on Merger and Acquisition Contract Management.

PMI chapter meetings are open to PMI-certified professionals, students, and those interested in learning about project management and making connections with those in the industry. Individuals who are PMI-credentialed can receive 1.5 PDUs (professional development units) for every meeting attended.  Students are invited to gain valuable insight into current trends in the profession.

Student tickets for the meeting are $15. Professional tickets are $25. Dinner will be provided, and registration is required. Register online at https://tinyurl.com/pmijuly24. Parking is available in the parking tower and gravel lot near Oliver Hall.
