The Surrey Street Bridge in Lafayette has officially reopened.
Today, Lafayette Mayor-President Joel Robideaux and Councilman Kenneth Boudreaux hosted a ceremony for the reopening of the bridge.

The bridge closed in November so crews could make emergency repairs.
The project cost around $500,000.
