Lafayette Police confirm they are investigating a reported kidnapping.
According to Kyle Soirez, it happened in the 200 block of Liberty Avenue. The victim reportedly knew the suspect, who held him up at gunpoint before driving him to a park.
The victim was able to get away and called police from a home nearby.
No arrests have been made.
