Lafayette firefighters say they investigated a possible fire at Jimmy’s Food Mart in Duson on Friday morning.
The department said that at around midnight there was smoke inside the building. When KATC arrived on the scene it appeared that the store had received minor damage
Firefighters did not confirm that a fire did occur or say what caused the smoke in the building. An investigation is ongoing.
