The City of Abbeville is conducting an open house public meeting for the proposed LA 14: Downtown Abbeville Streetscaping project.
The proposed project would take place along Pere Megret St., around Magdalen Square, and along Concord St. and would remove and replace existing sidewalks, install brick pavers, landscaping with planters, and decorative lighting.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties. Representatives from the City of Abbeville and LA DOTD will be available at the open house to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project.
Verbal and written comments on the project can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed to the LADOTD address shown below, post marked by July 26, 2018.
The public meeting will be held on: Thursday, July 12, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the City of Abbeville Council Chambers on State Street.
