Lafayette Police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday.
Emergency room staff reported the gunshot wound, police say.
The victim said he was urinating outside when a man approached him and hit him in the head. He turned around, and then the man pulled a gun out of his pocket and shot him in the arm, police said.
The victim said he may have heard two other shots fired. The victim was taken to the emergency room by his girlfriend’s mother.
