Deputies arrested a man this morning after a call was made against him by an older family member for allegedly causing a domestic disturbance.

The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Department says that 45-year-old Jeremy Chad Vincent of Iowa was arrested and booked on charges of violation of a protective order, home invasion, simple battery of the infirm, simple criminal damage, and resisting an officer.

The victim told deputies that Vincent was causing a disturbance in the home and physically forced him out of the home to drive Vincent to town.

Deputies say a protective order had been put into place after previous incidents involving Vincent and the victim who deputies identified as Vincent’s father.

On May 23, Vincent was arrested for simple battery of the infirm, domestic abuse battery and theft. That incident, according to deputies involved the same family member.
