The Leather Pouch, a leather store which has been open in downtown Lafayette for decades, is closed.
Today, the owner told us that a customer came in and bought the remaining stock in the store.
"SOLD OUT! We have officially sold our remaining inventory," the store posted on its Facebook page. "Big thank you to all of our loyal customers throughout the last 49 years. We apologize to those of you who weren’t able to make it by one last time before closing. Thank you Acadiana!"
The store has been located on Vermilion Street near Johnston, selling leather, gifts and other items.
