Posted

St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Breaux Bridge woman for her alleged part in the homicide of Simone Robin.

Brittni Courville, 24, was booked with illegally supplying a felon with a firearm. She is accused of buying a gun for Brandon Boutte, 25, who is a convicted felon and who now is in jail facing a one count of second-degree murder and one count obstruction of justice in Robin’s death. Deputies say she faces no other charges related to the homicide. She’s accused of buying the gun several weeks prior to Robin’s shooting death.

Investigators believe Robin, 19, was shot on a Thursday, and then her St. Martinville trailer was set on fire the following Saturday. Robin’s body was found in Port Barre that night.

Boutte is accused of her murder, and his brother,  22-year-old Toby Boutte of Sunset, was booked with accessory after the fact to second-degree murder.  Brandon Boutte’s bond is set at $1,050,000 and Toby Boutte’s bond is set at $100,000.
