EatLafayette campaign begins tonight with Taste of EatLafayette and Seafood Cookoff

Happening tonight at the Cajundome Convention Center, Lafayette Travel will kick-off its EatLafayette campaign with the Taste of EatLafayette event and Louisiana Seafood Cookoff. Seafood chefs from around the state will battle for the title of Louisiana Seafood King or Queen while guests sample cuisine from 60 participating restaurants.

The Taste of EatLafayette event will be held tonight from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Tonight marks the kick-off of Lafayette Travel’s EatLafayette campaign which runs from now until September and offers deals and specials each week from restaurants from around Lafayette. 

Three of the 12 contestants participating in this year’s seafood competition are from restaurants in Lafayette and Breaux Bridge.

Chefs will start cooking at 5:00 pm and the winner will be announced by 8:00 pm.
