Lafayette Crime Stoppers are searching for two female suspects wanted for stealing money from an elderly woman.
On May 30, the suspects allegedly approached the woman at the Goodwill store in the 3800 block of Ambassador Caffery Pkwy. and convinced her to withdraw a large amount of money from her banking account for an investment opportunity.
Police say the two suspects then went with the victim to the Walgreens in the 2500 block of Kaliste Saloom and told her a managing investment banker was waiting inside to speak with her.
When the victim went inside the store, the two women fled.
The woman with the sunglasses pictured in the surveillance photo is said to have several gold teeth.
