Tonight, audiences will be able to join the late Anthony Bourdain during his trip to Acadiana as he filmed "Cajun Mardi Gras" as part of his Parts Unknown series.
Laura’s II, a soul food restaurant in Lafayette where Bourdain dined during his trip in February, is hosting a watch party.
Jefferson Street Pub in downtown Lafayette is also inviting people in to watch the episode.
During the Emmy-winning host’s documented trip, Bourdain visited Mamou for their Courir de Mardi Gras, Opelousas for Billy’s Boudin and Cracklins, Suire’s Grocery and Restaurant in Kaplan, and even the world’s only Popeye’s buffet in Lafayette.
The celebrity chef passed away by suicide four months later on June 8.
The episode is airing tonight at 8 p.m. on CNN.
