One woman has been arrested after turning herself in to Lake Charles Police in connection with a shooting and armed robbery.
Lake Charles Police say that Friday, June 15, 2018, 25-year-old Mildred Goodly turned herself in to police. The second suspect in the case 32-year-old Sidney Bland is still wanted.
Police say they were called to a home on Guy Street on June 8 after three people went into the home and shot a 73-year-old man several times. They robbed him of some cash, and fled, police said. The man is recovering at a local hospital.
Detectives are still trying to identify the third suspect, the spokesman said. The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
