Opelousas Police have arrested a man, accused of threatening to "shoot up" a local business.

Investigators say the arrest was made after a complaint was filed Wednesday by a local business in the 1000 block of Creswell Lane. Employees of the local business stated that a man, identified as 26-year-old Clinton Beauregard of Opelousas, allegedly became upset after being served and threatened to “return and shoot up the building”.

After allegedly making the threat, employees told police that the subject left the business. Beauregard was later located and the arrested.

Beauregard has been booked on a terrorizing charge and is currently in the St Landry Parish Jail.
