Two Lafayette roadways will close on Thursday, June 14 for scheduled work.
LCG says that the 100 block of Westchester Drive will be closed from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm for a scheduled tree removal. Contractors will be placing a crane in the roadway to aid in the removal.
The second road closure will occur at Stelly Road between La 1252 and Rue Carnot. The closure here will take place on Thursday, June 14 beginning at 7:00 am and end on Friday, June 15 at 5:00 pm.
The closure is to install drainage culverts across the roadway.
Detour routes will be provided for both roadways. LCG says local access will be maintained.
