After a two-month investigation into drug dealing at an apartment complex, Carencro Police detectives have arrested two men and recovered weapons and drugs.
The investigation began in April, when detectives began looking into drug sales at an apartment complex on Amesbury Drive in Carencro, Chief David Anderson said.
During the investigation, detectives were able to identify multiple subjects at an apartment complex that were dealing in illegal narcotics, he said.
On Sunday, detectives arrested two men and seized two pounds of marijuana, a large quantity of Xanax, Promethazine and Ecstasy, counterfeit $100 bills, an AK-47 assault rifle, a 9mm pistol and a large amount of ammo.
